What's the deal with the SRS light coming on? 2001 LS. Is it cracked circuit board solder? The connections were cleaned and put back together, but the lamp still comes on intermittent.

How bout the system actually being faulty? Taking it to the dealers wouldn't be a bad idea.

Yup, SRS doesn't come on for no reason.

Great responses - take it to a dealer. The Galant has a known problem with solder cracks on the circuit board near the round connector. Under the seat is not a great place to package an air bag module any way.

A quick removal and a little solder paste resolved the problem.

Take it to a dealer? Nice advice.

What's your problem? Fixing the circuit board fixed the problem.

It is obvious that highest degree of mechanical or electrical knowledge on this site is putting on bigger wheels. I will not ask nor give advice further.

By the way, messiah, I can't believe that you are a moderator and you call people names...

You're right, idiots that ask and answer their own questions, and then can't read what they wrote themselves are retarded by nature.

And you're wrong, bigger wheels don't fix everything, WD40, duct tape and zip ties do!

Douchebag...

Obviously, you don't know the difference between a connector and a circuit board. Moderate this!

Asswipe.

You know i dont quite really agree with this. But then again I passed my ASE certs by picking the correct chrome lugnuts to hold on a bigger set of wheels.

I am going to close this before it gets out of hand. The problem is apparently solved. Moving on.
